Shaggy - PLEASE do some UK shows soon

Postby pachapartygirl on Wed Dec 17, 2008 4:25 pm

I have not posted on this forum for quite some time now - I now have a new username, as its been that long.
But I wanted to post this topic to ask anybody if they know whether Shaggy will be doing any UK shows soon??

I search for show listings on ticketmaster.co.uk now and again but never find any UK dates for Shaggy.

I saw him perform once in the UK at a Radio 1 roadshow. But there were lots of singers and bands there that day, so he only could perform one or two songs. This was a good few years ago now and Ive never been to a proper Shaggy concert and Im really disappointed about that because I LOVE his music.

Have there been any UK shows recently or in the last few years that have somehow slipped under my radar??

PLEASE COME TO THE UK SOON SHAGGY.

The last tour was with "Hot Shot" in '02. We had a great time last year at the Leeds reggae festival, and there have been a few "flying visits" here and there, but nothing really listed anywhere .....mainly promo work I think. You'r not the only one shouting for more UK dates ....there are a few of us here ! Keep watching and let us know if you hear anything !

Was Shaggy at the Leeds Reggae festival then? I didnt know Leeds did one. In fact I dont know where does really. Although I love Shaggy's music, Ive never been to any Reggae events. Its mainly dance music events I go to. But not because I dont want to see any Reggae shows - Id love to. Its just knowing where and when they are really I guess.

SHAGGY FOR THE UK SOON - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Yeah, Shaggy was at Leeds last year. The reggae fest's are amazing with all the music and food. If you check further back on here you will find some stuff about it and maybe some pic's. Mr.B has been on "Never mind the Buzzcocks" "Loose Women" and "This Morning" and co hosted the MOBO Awards last year too. We usually get to hear about things last minute, but try to post on here as soon as poss. Keep checking in and if you hear about anything, please post and let us know ! :D
