liked the video. I was kinda hoping for like a storyline in it...didnt like Shaggys top hat l0l. but the video was pretty good. I liked Bonafides better though.

I saw the video on myspace, go to the music section. It is a very good video, one of the best ever.

the video is ok...shaggy looks very nice without that sunglasses (it's known that i HATE that) i think the video doesn't have much color or am i getting color blind ? the shaggy parts don't have so much color in them...it's not my favorite video..that was the samatha cole version of luv me luv me

Yeah, I had to dig it too Binu. I put it on the site in several places for ease of... I see there are more views now as when I went there was only 30G. Good that it's bumpin' up.

As for the video, meh. I have to let it grow on me. I like the color, the the outfits on Akon & S, no doubt, a lil bit of purple made it in there (yesssssss - I guess) and that's it for now. I see they even taught S some new moves because he actually looks like he's dancing in it. AHAHAHAA!! I still love the song, no doubt. Bout time the vid reach. Now, will it reach Bullcrap, I mean Black Entertainment Television, My Terrible Videos, I meeeean, MTV or Very Hideous One, sorry, that would be VH1.

We shall see. I'm off to write CMT. COUNTRY MUSIC CHANNEL. If BS'ing Bobby Brown AND Sissyco, darn me, Sisqo can try to become butchered country singers, anything's possible.

I think it's a cheap looking video in more than one way. Saw it twice and I don't have to see it again.

You're right Binu, Akon's appearance is the only good thing in this video.

Well Jenny, (not a reason nor excuse, just my thoughts) keep in mind BY doesn't have the same *cough*HUGE*cough* budget (despite their wonderful intentions) that your corporate BS'ers gave them. I'd rather have music than videos, so I really don't need any visuals, for real. He's/they're giving me what I want and have wanted for a long time. All this work is for the net it seems because no one has said anything about the CORPORATE channels playing them. US wise I mean.

I understand what you mean lady Di. But when I say it looks cheap, I mean something else too.
It's the way, girls are portrayed in the videos, I'm getting so tired of that!!!
It's like you can just open up a can of barely dressed girls, make some vulgar movements and voila, you got yourself a video again.

In my opinion those colored backgrounds make the video look cheap, but the girls in this video and the way he is behaving towards them, that's what makes it look even cheaper. It wasn't at all necessary to have these girls in the video. And if you desperately want a girl in it, why not choose for a classy style. Why does it always have to be so slutty.

I don't really need the videos either. Frankly there aren't many Shaggy videos, that I like to watch. Often they spoil the song for me.
It happened several times, that I don't like the song anymore, after watching the video for it.
So you could say, the more videos he makes, the less songs I listen to. lol

I always hope to see a different kind of video, but most of the time it's the same crap.
And I know he is not the only one, making such videos, but that is never an excuse.
I believe, a good artist doesn't need sleazy videos to sell his music.

I have to say that I agree to some point Jenny. It's in all male videos now days to have scantly dressed chicks which has long been boring for me. It wouldn't be SHAGGY to do it any other way. BUT, it's almost like his appearance in That Girl video as for style and this is the reason I am not doing nothing more than putting it out there for others to see. I'm done with the video personally.

Men do videos like this for hEGO. Videos are losing the story aspect like in days of old. (sighs) Ya'll just tell me when it reach the TV.

first things first, I think the video is one of the better videos Shaggy has done in years, probably since That Girl! He looks great, and it's an insult to say it needed Akon, because I forgot he was even there, Shaggy outshone Akon, he ruled that video and the camera loved him! I loved the top hat! Very Fred Astaire! Very cool! loved that touch, noone else has done that! that was hot! I don't agree with you about the budget, there is nothing that indicates that the video was a low budget, i work in the video industry and the majority of the videos you see out there now are done for between $100,000-$350,000. with all the digital cameras, and the new RED camera, you don't have to shoot on film all the time which is very expensive, and besides, record companies just aren't shelling out crap loads of money on videos like they used to. That video didn't suffer budget-wise. If you can afford Hype, you can afford the video, PERIOD! I do agree with the ladies dressed scantily, especially the one in the blue! her ass was hanging out for all to see! But that is Hype, and if you watched the making of the video footage, alot of that was shot days prior to Shaggy being there. But was it necessary? We'll have to see, won't we? I don't like to see it, I don't like to think of my boy Shaggy degrading women like all the rest of them men out there! I hold him to a higher degree. But we'll have to let this one slide and wait and see.
